LLANGANUCO LAKE AND ALLEY HUAYLAS


It's a Peruvian city, capital of the homonymous province and the department of Ancash. Huaraz is popularly known as the Switzerland of Peru, being situated around the towering snow-capped mountains of the Cordillera Blanca. The name of the city comes from the Quechua word " Waraq " meaning "Dawn " , since the pre-Hispanic inhabitants of the area had as one of its main deities to " Waraq quyllur " ( morning star ) or planet Venus , which is one of the stars that can be seen best from the city. It is also called "The noble and generous city", "Capital International Friendship" and "World Natural Paradise". The city of Huaraz is located southeast of the Province of Huaraz in the Ancash Department. The metropolitan area covers much of the districts of Huaraz Independence and Fencing. This city belongs to the Quechua region being located at 3,052 meters.

DESCRIPCION
9:00 a.m. Tour of the Callejon de Huaylas, Cordillera formed by white and black , will visit the beautiful villages of Anta, Mark , Carhuaz ( where we enjoy fruit ice cream ) , Yungay Cemetery , following a short 26km road . We arrive Llanganuco Lake (Chinacocha), a beautiful blue lagoon and cold waters. Returning observe the flora and fauna, Lunch at Caraz. Visit to the village center and demonstration Tarica pottery making. Return to Huaraz.
