VISIT TO LIMA MUSEUMS


We visited the interesting Museum of Archeology & Anthropology in which we can learn about the evolution of the old man in the different regions of Peru. Here you will know the famous "Raimondi Stela " & " The Tello Obelisk " and see a large collection of other objects such as ceramics, textiles , metals, organic and lithic materials related to human remains invaluable . We combine this great ride with a visit to great Larco Herrera Museum, where we will enjoy a spectacular collection of erotic ceramics of the Moche culture, as well as of the pre -Inca cultures that developed in our country.

DESCRIPTION
  • Visit "The Larco Herrera Museum," which in an educational exhibits in its galleries and tissues ceramic remains impressive, showing the old world of our ancestors 3,000 years ago.
  • National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of Peru, equally spectacular than the last. This museum is the oldest in Peru, and exhibits a vast and diverse cultural heritage, which include the famous Estela Raimondi and Tello Obelisk, impressive stone monuments belonging to the Formative period (1000 BC) . Visit the famous Inca Room, also known as Tawantinsuyo room, which shows in a didactic summary of the evolution Inca. Among its main attractions see the model of the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu and other monuments in our territory. End of service

It is necessary to wear warm clothes as the weather in Lima is often cold, especially in winter (June to September) If you make this trip at other times of year can wear light clothing in the morning, but in the evenings it is always advisable to wear a coat.
